Here are the candidates for SBLive’s North Carolina High School Football Coach of the Week for Nov. 5 as nominated by our SBLive staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll.

HERE ARE THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

Jon McIntosh, Central Davidson: McIntosh, in his first year as a head coach, picked up his first playoff win after the No. 20 Spartans' upset over No. 13 Eastern Guilford in the first round of the 3-A playoffs.

Tony Aguilar, Southeast Alamance: Southeast Alamance is in its first year as a school and now also has its first playoff win, a 27-13 upset over No. 9 Martin in the 2-A playoffs.

Bruce McClelland, Terry Sanford: McClelland led No. 27 Sanford to a 34-27 upset of No. 6 Vance in the first round of the 3-A playoffs.

D.J. McFadden, Independence: No. 23 Independence knocked off No. 10 Lake Norman 35-0 in the opening round of the 4-A playoffs.

Darius Robinson, Southern Durham: No. 21 Southern Durham upset No. 12 Eastern Alamance 36-7 in the first round of the 3-A state playoffs.

Dante Lombardi, Ashley: Not only did No. 24 Ashley pull off an upset over No. 9 Pine Forest in the first round of the 4-A playoffs, it was also the first postseason win for the Screaming Eagles since 2004.

Dylan Dimock, New Hanover: No. 26 New Hanover downed No. 7 Durham Hillside 23-6 in the first round of the 4-A playoffs.

Will Bland, J.H. Rose: The No. 25 Rampants upset No. 8 White Oak 21-19 in the first round of the 3-A playoffs.
