Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Western North Carolina high school defensive football player of the week for Nov. 6 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote in our poll. You may vote as many times as you want. HERE ARE THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

Kenyon Moore, Pisgah: Moore had two interceptions and also caught a 68-yard touchdown pass in a 35-17 win over North Henderson.

Malik Angrum, A.C. Reynolds: Angrum had a 26-yard interception return for a touchdown and caught a 15-yard touchdown pass in a 45-0 win over North Gaston.

Khamoni Heath, Lincolnton: Heath recorded six tackles, a sack, and three tackles for loss in a 35-21 win over North Surry. Heath also ran for 200 yards and four touchdowns.

Ben Sain, West Lincoln: Sain finished with 14 tackles and had a fumble recovery in a 53-35 win over Chase.

Ryan Bassani, North Lincoln: Bassani had 12 tackles and two tackles for a loss in a 50-7 win over Rockingham County.
