Here are the candidates for SBLive’s North Carolina High School Football Coach of the Week for Nov. 12 as nominated by our SBLive staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll.

HERE ARE THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

D.J. McFadden, Independence: McFadden led the No. 23 Patriots to their second-straight upset road win in the 4-A playoffs, upsetting No. 7 seed East Forsyth 34-26 in the second round.

Steven Wright, Cardinal Gibbons: Wright has led the Crusaders to eight straight wins after Friday's 55-21 win over Millbrook in the second round of the 4-A playoffs.

Scott Chadwick, Clayton: Clayton beat previously unbeaten Pinecrest 17-10 in the second round of the 4-A playoffs, securing the firs 10-win season for the Comets as a 4-A program.

Robby Priest, East Bladen: Priest led the No. 13 Eagles to a 25-18 upset win over No. 4 Northside in the second round of the 1-A playoffs.

Kevin Gillespie, Thomasville: Gillespie led the No. 11 Bulldogs to a 41-13 upset win over No. 6 Albemarle in the 1-A playoffs.

Tony Aguilar, Southeast Alamance: Aguilar and the Stallions, in their first season as a school, won their second straight playoff game in the 2-A playoffs with a 21-14 win over Cummings.

Tiesuan Brown, Mount Tabor: The No. 19 Spartans upset No. 3 and previously unbeaten Mooresville 19-14 in the second round of the 4-A playoffs.

Ronald Gatling, Hertford County: Gatling and the No 12 Bears upended No. 5 Wallace Rose Hill 58-44 in the second round of the 2-A playoffs.
