Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Central North Carolina high school football defensive football player of the week for Nov. 13 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote in our poll. You may vote as often as you like. Paul Widerman, Reidsville: Widerman had 15 tackles and two tackles for loss in a 42-7 win over West Stokes.

JaDon Blair, Mount Tabor: Blair had two interceptions and caught a 57-yard touchdown pass in a 19-14 win over Mooresville.

Chris Clarke, Independence: Clarke had a 95-yard fumble return for a touchdown in a 34-28 win over East Forsyth. It is the second straight week Clarke had a fumble return for a touchdown in the playoffs.

Eli Anders, Hough: Anders had two sacks and five tackles in a 45-12 win over Porter Ridge.

Jadyn Farmer, Butler: Farmer recorded eight tackles and a sack in a 47-7 win over West Forsyth.
