Ohio high school football playoffs top stars and best performances (11/13/2023)
There were several big-time high school football performances across the state of Ohio this past weekend as the playoffs entered the second round. Here are some of those performances.

Trenton Barraza, Columbus Grove
Barraza opened the scoring for Columbus Grove with a 33-yard touchdown run and finished with 160 rushing yards and two more scores as Grove bested Carey 37-21.
Brodey Berg, Anderson
The senior running back finished with four touchdowns to help lead Anderson to a 50-36 win over Harrison. Berg is set to join the OHSAA record book for most touchdowns in a career with 85 scores.
Isaac Bunts, Perkins
Bunts led the Pirates offense with 153 rushing yards and two touchdowns en route to a 38-21 win over West Holmes.
Thomas Csanyi, St. Edward
Csanyi finished 13-of-15 for 162 yards and three touchdowns in the Eagles’ 41-17 victory over Canton McKinley.
Will Francis, Chardon
The signal-caller led the Hilltoppers to its fifth straight regional berth behind a four-touchdown night. Francis went 4-of-5 for 93 yards and a touchdown while adding 118 yards and three scores on the ground as Chardon beat Aurora 31-7.
Finn Mason, Lakota West
Led the Firebirds defense with two interceptions and returned one 72 yards for a touchdown to hand Princeton its first loss of the season, 19-7.
Keller Moten, Walsh Jesuit
The quarterback was dangerous on the ground and through the air, as he carried the ball 10 times for 134 yards and three touchdowns while also completing 8-of-11 passes for 164 yards and a pair of scores as Walsh defeated Hudson 35-14.
Riley Neer, Bellefontaine
Finished as the Chiefs’ leading receiver with 11 receptions for 204 yards and two touchdowns in Bellefontaine defeated Granville 29-21.
Jayvin Norman, Springfield
The senior running back rushed for over 200 yards and two scores, including a 76-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, as Springfield upset Olentangy 37-24.
Matt Ponatoski, Archbishop Moeller
In a , Ponatoski passed for 287 yards and five touchdowns to become Moeller’s all-time single-season passing leader with 2,965 yards.
Greyson Siders, Dalton
The senior running back dominated on offense with 312 yards on 25 carries and three touchdowns, including one on a 65-yard run.
Jayden Studio, Perry
The senior running back rushed for over 200 yards and two touchdowns as the Pirates defeated the Garrettsville Garfield G-Men 42-14. Studio’s biggest play of the night came on a 63-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.
Danny Stoddard, Medina
The senior quarterback went 21-of-30 for 359 yards and three touchdowns to help the Bees edge Cleveland Heights 21-20.
Damarion Witten, Glenville
The Ohio State commit scored on a 37-yard pass in the first quarter and added another touchdown in the Tarblooders’ 50-14 win over Shelby.
Preston Wolfe, Hilliard Bradley
The senior wide receiver made eight catches for 85 yards and scored the Jaguars only two touchdowns to defeat Pickerington North 19-0.
