Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Ohio high school Athlete of the Week for December 24-30. Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Dee Alexander, Purcell Marian girls basketball

Led the Cavaliers to a championship at the Junior Orange Bowl Classic in Florida with 73 points across three games. She scored 25 points to defeat James River (Virginia) 76-66, 28 points in an 83-64 victory against Doral Academy (Florida) and 25 points in a 78-41 win over Miami Norland (Floriday). Her first basket against James River set a school record for the most career points with 1,599.

Sydney Bass, Strongsville girls basketball

Posted a team-high 33 points in a 72-50 win against Newark and broke the program record for most 3-pointers in a game with eight.

Mason Bauer, Ashland wrestling

At the Medina Invitational Tournament, Bauer won the 106-pound title with a pin in just 57 seconds in the championship match.

Alex Bobb, Maysville boys basketball

Poured in 32 points to help beat Carrollton 81-32.

Jakhi Calloway, Bishop Hartley boys basketball

Dropped a team-high 23 points to beat Indian Lake 70-56 and improve to 7-0 on the season.

Briley Cramer, Circleville boys basketball

Had a career night, scoring 40 points in an 81-79 overtime win against Westfall.

Aidan Fockler, Massillon Perry wrestling

Took home the crown at the Brecksville Holiday Tournament at 285 pounds. En route to the title, he had a pin and two major decisions and won the championship match with a 10-2 decision.

Shawn Foster, Lima Senior boys basketball

The freshman guard chipped in 29 points to help the Spartans edge Reynoldsburg 63-62 in overtime.

Mari Gerton, Princeton girls basketball

Helped the Lady Vikings defeat Mount Notre Dame 64-55 with 28 points, three assists and two steals.

Brayden Gross, Louisville boys basketball 

Scored 13 of his game-high 20 points in the third quarter to help the Leopards down Akron Garfield 73-52.

Chris Knight, Massillon boys basketball 

Hit six 3-pointers and finished with 29 points in a 102-85 victory over Northwest.

Tatiana Mason, Brush girls basketball

The freshman guard dropped a game-high 17 points to help the Lady Arcs stay perfect on the season and defeat Archbishop Alter 52-49 at the Jingle Bell Jam.

Kennedy Morgan, Highland girls basketball

Led the Hornets to a 60-48 win at Massillon Perry with 20 points and scored a team-high 14 points in a 51-44 loss to Whitmer.

Jonas Nichols, Archbishop Hoban boys basketball

The senior guard knocked down three 3-pointers and totaled 11 points in the first quarter en route to finishing with 24 points to knock off Centerville 60-56.

Isabelle Niederst, Elyria Catholic girls basketball

Had 10 points, four rebounds and four assists in the second half alone as the Panthers defeated Bishop Hartley. She finished with a game-high 19 points.

Reece Robinson, St. Ignatius boys basketball

Recorded a double-double, posting 23 points and 12 rebounds and was named an all-tournament player in a 71-59 win over Dallas Jesuit (Texas) at the Cookie Garcia Invitational in Florida.

Keegan Sell, Garrettsville Garfield wrestling

The 190-pound state champion from a year ago wasted no time in getting to the final of the Brecksville Holiday Tournament, where he won 7-0 over Colin Wooldridge of Cincinnati LaSalle. Sell recorded three pins on his first four matches.

Jenna Slates, Green girls basketball

Slates led the Bulldogs to victory with a double-double, scoring 23 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. She also added six steals and two blocks to help defeat St. Joseph Academy 48-43 in the South Range Holiday Hoops Classic.

Berry Wallace, Pickerington Central girls basketball

Led the Tigers to a 2-1 record at the John Wall Holiday Invitational in North Carolina behind 56 points. Wallace had 30 points in a 56-43 win over Charlotte Catholic (North Carolina), 10 points in a 55-45 loss to Morris Catholic (New Jersey) and 16 points in a victory over Chapel Hill (North Carolina).
