Oklahoma high school girls basketball Top 25 rankings (2/21/2024)
Going all chalk was the rule for this week's SBLive Oklahoma Top 25 with the start of postseason play.
All 25 teams from last week's rankings won, with a vast majority of the teams winning by heavily decisive margins. As a result, there will be no drastic movement this week.
It might be a different story next week, as 6A and 5A teams play regional championship games Friday, and 4A, 3A and 2A squads start regional action Thursday. Class A and B ranked schools will be playing their respective area title games Friday, needing a win to punch a ticket to next week's state tournament.
Here is this week's SBLive Oklahoma Top 25, with the results from Tuesday's games included.
1. El Reno (23-0); last week (1)
The Lady Indians were idle on Tuesday, but they were definitely not taking the night off. They were scouting the 5A West Regional opener on their home court, watching Guymon defeat Altus, 75-54. So on Friday, El Reno starts postseason play by facing Guymon for the regional title.

2. Choctaw (23-0); last week (2)
The Lady Yellowjackets followed up their perfect regular season with a perfect start to postseason play, recording a 54-19 win against U.S. Grant in their 6A East Regional opener. Choctaw is at home again Friday to take on Tulsa Union for the regional title.
3. Bethany (20-4); last week (3)
Bethany was to have played Clinton in the Class 4A district playoff round. However, Clinton was forced to withdraw because it did not have enough eligible players, resulting in a forfeit win for the Lady Bronchos, who will be at home Thursday for their 4A regional opener against Elk City.
4. Putnam City West (22-1); last week (4)
The Lady Patriots began their postseason run in resounding fashion with a 96-10 win against Capitol Hill in their 6A West Regional opening-round matchup. They will be at home Friday to take on Westmoore for the regional title.
5. Edmond North (22-1); last week (5)
The Lady Huskies began their quest for a 6A title "three-peat" with a 46-16 win against Northwest Classen to start their 6A West Regional tournament. Edmond North will play its regional title game Friday against a very familiar foe - crosstown rival Edmond Santa Fe. Those two teams played exactly a week ago on Feb. 16, with the Lady Huskies coming away with a 47-32 win.
6. Tahlequah (23-1); last week (6)
Tahlequah continued its winning ways on Tuesday with an 81-16 win against Tulsa Edison in the first round of the 5A East Regional. The Lady Tigers will be at home again on Friday, facing McAlester for the regional championship.
7. Idabel (21-1); last week (7)
The Lady Warriors drew a bye from last week's 3A district round. They will get to be at home to start their regional tournament on Thursday, taking on Silo in a semifinal matchup.
8. Lincoln Christian (20-3); last week (8)
Lincoln Christian started its 4A postseason with a district playoff at Harrah, with the Lady Bulldogs coming away victorious, 66-22. They will return home on Thursday to begin regional play, taking on Skiatook in the semifinals.
9. Edmond Memorial (20-3); last week (9)
Edmond Memorial was at home Tuesday to begin its 6A East Regional, and the Lady Bulldogs handled Southmoore, 87-27. They will be at home again Friday, taking on Jenks for the regional championship.
10. Dale (25-1); last week (10)
Dale rolled past Mounds, 87-28, in its 2A district playoff last weekend. The Lady Pirates will get to be at home on Thursday, facing Healdton in their regional semifinal.
11. Midwest City (21-3); last week (11)
The Lady Bombers had no trouble with Western Heights, recording a 90-20 win in their 5A West Regional opener. They will be at home Friday for a regional title matchup against Noble, which edged Elgin, 55-53.
12. Washington (20-3); last week (12)
The Lady Warriors drew a bye from their 3A districts last weekend. They return to the court on Thursday as they're home for a regional semifinal against Lexington.
13. Midwest City Carl Albert (20-4); last week (13)
Carl Albert took advantage of its status as the host of a 5A West Regional, downing Oklahoma City Southeast, 83-33, in Tuesday's opener. The Lady Titans are back at home Friday for the regional championship against Del City, which outlasted Guthrie in triple overtime, 61-57.
14. Sapulpa (19-5); last week (14)
Sapulpa began its 5A title defense with a 65-10 win against Claremore on Tuesday, starting a 5A East Regional. On Friday, the Lady Chieftains go for a regional title by taking on Holland Hall in a rematch of last season's 5A title game, won by Sapulpa on a last-second shot by former standout Stailee Heard.
15. Glenpool (20-3); last week (15)
Glenpool went on the road for its 4A district playoff, and was able to survive McLoud, 66-57. The Lady Warriors now get to return home for Thursday's regional semifinal, where they will take on Berryhill.
16. Seiling (22-3); last week (16)
Seiling was able to host a Class A regional tournament last week, and the Lady Wildcats posted convincing wins, beating Thomas-Fay-Custer 74-27 in the semifinal and then defeating Texhoma, 89-44, for the regional title. They're now one win away from returning back to state with a chance to defend the Class A title, and they can get that trip with a win on Friday against Oklahoma Bible in the area title game at Woodward.
17. Classen SAS (18-6); last week (17)
The Lady Comets made it 10 straight wins with a 60-26 victory at Cache in the 4A districts. They will now play at Duncan in Thursday's regional semifinal contest.
18. Mustang (18-6); last week (18)
Mustang is at Yukon for its 6A West Regional, and on Tuesday, the Lady Broncos defeated Lawton Eisenhower, 69-33. Now, they are back at Yukon on Friday, and will have to get past perhaps its biggest rival, Yukon, this time with a regional title at stake.
19. Riverside (23-3); last week (19)
Riverside opened its 2A postseason with an 89-42 win at Hinton in last week's district playoff. The win gave the Lady Braves their 15th victory in their last 16 ballgames. Thursday, they travel to face Minco in a regional semifinal.
20. Sand Springs (18-6); last week (20)
The Lady Sandites opened their 6A East Regional in Broken Arrow with a 45-28 win against Ponca City. They return to Broken Arrow on Friday for a regional championship game against the host Lady Tigers.
21. Dover (26-2); last week (21)
Dover picked up a pair of decisive wins at its Class B regional tournament last week, beating Olive 83-35 and then 56-22 against McCurtain in the regional championship game. The Lady Longhorns now play in Friday's area title game in Henryetta, taking on Pittsburg.
22. Inola (21-3); last week (22)
In a very loaded Class 4A bracket, the Lady Longhorns are very capable of winning it all. They now have won 10 straight games, and 18 of their past 19 ballgames, after a 68-33 win against Jay in the district round. Inola will be at home on Thursday for a regional semifinal game against Vinita.
23. Owasso (19-5); last week (23)
The Lady Rams were at home Tuesday to begin a 6A East Regional, and came away with a 59-33 win against Muskogee. They are back at home on Friday for the regional championship game, facing Bixby, which survived Bartlesville, 49-47.
24. Fort Gibson (19-5); last week (24)
Fort Gibson won its seventh straight game as the Lady Tigers opened the 4A postseason with a 61-36 win against Hilldale in the districts, beginning their bid to reach the state tournament for the 20th consecutive season. They are at home again on Thursday, facing Perkins-Tryon in a regional semifinal.
25. Broken Arrow (17-7); last week (25)
The Lady Tigers won at home to start their 6A East Regional, beating Enid, 75-33. They are at home again on Friday for the regional championship game against Sand Springs.
