Willard puts on big scoring performances in leading team to title game
Ellie Willard did her part in helping get her team the chance to play for a state title.
Willard, a senior guard for Lookeba-Sickles, averaged 21.7 points in her team's three-game run through the Class B state tournament bracket, as Lookeba-Sickles finished as the runner-up. She had 30 points in a quarterfinal win against Arnett.
For her efforts, Willard was voted the SBLive Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week for Feb. 26-March 3.
