Lonnie lettered on varsity as a freshman and sophomore at Jesuit High School as a running back and linebacker. Falling in love with football came naturally as Lonnie grew up in a football family. Starting at a young age, Lonnie watched his older brothers Paul Weatheroy and Miles Weatheroy play football at Jesuit High School and in college, both of whom were selected to play in the Les Schwab Bowl. Lonnie Burt Sr., Lonnie Jr.’s father, was a nose guard in the CFL and coached him throughout youth football. Lonnie is very passionate about football but understands the importance of living a balanced lifestyle. His core values are faith, family, academics and community service. The NW Children’s Outreach Center and the Acts of Kindness Foundation are two charitable organizations that Lonnie has enjoyed volunteering for over the past seven years. He has a cumulative GPA of 3.3 and strives to make the honor roll his upcoming junior year. Lonnie looks forward to the upcoming season with his teammates at Jesuit. He believes that through hard work and dedication, anything is possible. He is thankful for the opportunity to be selected to play in the Les Schwab Bowl and is excited to compete and learn.
