Here are the Oregon high school boys soccer stars of the week for Oct. 10-16 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Cole Affolter, Tillamook

The sophomore midfielder/defender had five goals and an assist for the Cheesemakers in their 9-1 victory at St. Helens, giving him eight goals and six assists this season.

Tommy Anderson, Bend

The senior midfielder had a goal and an assist for the Lava Bears in their 3-1 victory at Ridgeview in an Intermountain Conference match.

Lucas Chacon, Crater

The freshman midfielder/forward scored on a header shot in the 63rd minute, giving the Comets a 2-1 win at North Eugene in a Midwestern League contest.

Sol Barnett, Cleveland

The junior forward scored the winning goal, coming on a header off a cross with about a minute to go in the first half of a 1-0 victory over McDaniel. Barnett had a goal in a 3-1 win against Franklin.

Everett Christensen, Crescent Valley

The junior forward had a goal and an assist for the Raiders in their 3-0 victory over Lebanon in a Mid-Willamette Conference match at Crescent Valley High School.

Cash Cota, Ashland

The junior scored two goals for the Grizzlies in their 4-0 win over Churchill in a Midwestern League match at Ashland High School.

Mustafa Daggig, Parkrose

The senior forward/midfielder, who takes control with the ball at his feet, has nine goals and three assists in the Broncos’ four Northwest Oregon Conference matches.

Bryce Dahlenburg, Douglas

The freshman scored two goals, including one in the first minute of the match, to help the Trojans get a 4-0 win over Pacific/Bandon in a Special District 4 game at Winston Middle School.

Finn Dumars, Thurston

The senior, who is a team captain, scored on a free kick for the Colts in a match with Springfield and added two more goals in a 2-1 victory over Eagle Point.

Crisobal Esquivel, Canby

The senior forward, and a team captain, scored with 18.8 seconds left, giving the Cougars a 2-1 win over Oregon City in nonleague match at Canby High School.

Miguel Garcia, McKay

The junior forward, and a team captain, scored a goal in the final minute of play, giving the unbeaten Royal Scots a 2-1 win over Woodburn in a Mid-Willamette Conference match at McKay High School.

Noah Hayes, Jesuit

The senior forward scored two goals for the Crusaders in their 4-0 victory over Mountainside in a Metro League match at Jesuit High School.

Chris Kranenburg, St. Mary’s (Medford)

The junior scored two goals for the Crusaders, helping them run to a 6-0 victory at Rogue Valley Adventist in a Special District 5 contest.

Ian Lloyd, West Albany

The senior forward scored two goals for the Bulldogs in their 3-1 win over Central in a Mid-Willamette Conference match at Central High School.

Gunder Miller, Lincoln

The junior midfielder scored three goals during the week for the Cardinals, giving him 15 goals for the season.

Daniel Miramon, Nelson

The sophomore goalkeeper had 11 saves for the Hawks in their Mt. Hood Conference match with Centennial, and he helped the team limit Sandy to one goal in a conference contest.

Jose Mondesi, St. Mary’s (Medford)

The freshman came up with a hat trick for the Crusaders in their 6-0 road win over Rogue Valley Adventist in a Special District 5 match.

Colby O’Toole, Douglas

The junior goalkeeper had 14 saves for the Trojans in their 4-0 win over Pacific/Bandon in a Special District 4 contest at Winston Middle School.

Emori Pauli, South Umpqua

The junior midfielder/forward scored all five goals for the Lancers in their 5-1 victory over Douglas in a Special District 4 match at South Umpqua.

Lucas Saylor, Umpqua Valley Christian

The junior had his second consecutive hat trick for the Monarchs in their 6-0 win at South Umpqua in a Special District 4 match.

Parker Sanderson, Lincoln

The senior center back stepped up for the Cardinals when they were shorthanded because of an illness and then a red card, anchoring the back line to help preserve a 2-0 shutout win over Franklin in a Portland Interscholastic League match. 

Eben Tapia, Madras

The sophomore midfielder/forward scored two goals in the final five minutes of the match, giving the White Buffaloes a 2-0 home win over Estacada in a key Tri-Valley Conference contest.

Luis Uhtoff, Ashland

The freshman tallied two goals for the Grizzlies in their 4-0 win over Churchill in a Midwestern League contest at Ashland High School.

Alex Westberry, Crescent Valley

The sophomore forward scored a goal and dished off an assist for the Raiders in their 3-0 win over Lebanon in a Mid-Willamette Conference contest at Crescent Valley High School.

Salvador Wienecke, Astoria

The junior goalkeeper has been a standout for the Fishermen all season, with Astoria coach Lee Cain calling him “probably the best men’s goalkeeper I have ever seen in the Cowapa League (which he has been watching since 1997).” Cain added that Wienecke averages between 15 and 20 saves per game for the squad.

Daniel Withers, Umpqua Valley Christian

The junior had two goals and an assist for the Monarchs in a 6-0 win at South Umpqua in a Special District 4 contest.
