Kyle Slater of Yamhill-Carlton voted the WaFd Bank Oregon High School Baseball Athlete of the Week

Slater received 45.06% of the vote, beating out Santiam Christian’s Camden Carley, who finished second with 31.93%.

Congratulations to Yamhill-Carlton’s Kyle Slater for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Baseball Player of the Week for the week of April 24-30. 

Slater, a junior on the Yamhill-Carlton team, went 4 for 5 with a double, two triples, a stolen base, three runs and five RBIs to help propel the Tigers to a 20-0 home win over Sheridan in a Special District 2 tilt.

Slater received 45.06% of the vote, beating out Camden Carley, a senior on the Santiam Christian team, who finished second with 31.93%. Sol Scharp Salter, a senior on the Roosevelt team, was third with 13.26% and Cody Leming, a senior on the Stayton team, was fourth with 5.37%. There were more than 11,000 votes tallied this week.
