The Oregon (OSAA) 6A and 5A boys basketball state tournaments tipped off Wednesday in Portland (6A) and McMinnville (5A). Here's a summary of everything that happened.

No. 1 Central Catholic 59, No. 8 Jesuit 33 | Story, photos
The Rams outscored Jesuit in all four quarters and cruised past the Crusaders to lock up a berth in the semifinals.
Isaac Carr led all scorers with 13 points, Duce Paschal and Zamir Paschal notched 11 points apiece, and Marley Zeller added eight points to lead Central Catholic (25-3).
Pat Kilfoil scored 12 points, Isaac Bongen had six points, and Nico Rafalovich grabbed a game-high eight rebounds to go with four points in support of Jesuit (18-9).

Jaden Steppe poured in a game-high 29 points in 31 minutes, and Nolan Keeney scored 13 points off the bench as the Timberwolves pulled away from the Bruins in the second half to set up a semifinal matchup with top-seeded Central Catholic.
Javier Diaz pulled down 10 rebounds to go with six points for Tualatin (21-6), which led 23-22 at halftime.
Jalen Atkins scored 12 points, Brayden Barron added 11 points, and Sentori Martino grabbed 12 rebounds to pace Barlow (19-8).

Terrence Hill Jr. made a layup as time expired to lift the Roughriders over the PIL rival Generals.
Utrillo Morris had a game-high 23 points, Owen Nathan notched 18 points, and Chance White chipped in 11 to provide the bulk of the scoring for Roosevelt (25-2). Hill finished with seven points and three assists in 26 minutes.
Charlie Kapranos (12 points), Zhalei Van (11), Keion James (11) and Keone Gates (10) scored in double digits for Grant (19-8). The Generals charged back from a 40-23 halftime deficit before Hill’s last-second shot broke a 65-65 deadlock and sealed it for the Roughriders.

The Beavers ran to a 23-9 lead after eight minutes and held off the Metro League rival Skyhawks to advance to a semifinal matchup against No. 3 Roosevelt.
Aidan Rice dropped 22 points, Chance Winter notched 16 to go with eight rebounds, and Ahmed Abalo pitched in 10 points to carry Beaverton (18-9) to the win.
Carter Fortune tallied 14 points with eight rebounds, Keenan Reckamp scored 11, and Dante Scott scored 10 to pace Southridge (24-4). The Skyhawks outscored Beaverton in each of the final three periods but could not overcome their early hole.

Collin Moore, Mac Bledsoe and Pearson Carmichael (seven rebounds, six steals) had 10 points each, and the Storm overcame an early nine-point deficit and held on to down the Intermountain Conference rival Cougars.
Summit (22-4) fell behind 13-4 before dominating the middle periods (34-15) and leading by 14 en route to a spot in the semifinals.
Quincy Townsend (12 points), Kole Hendricks (10) and Mason Chambers (10 off the bench) scored in double figures to pace Mountain View (16-11).

Cruz Veliz dropped 24 points, including a go-ahead layup with 11 seconds remaining, and Woodburn downed Mid-Willamette Conference rival West Albany in a battle of Bulldogs to reach the semifinal round.
Liam Slattum and Dylon Renteria added nine points apiece, and Brody Hawley had eight points with eight rebounds to back Veliz and Woodburn (22-4).
Brysen Kachel went for 19 points and 10 rebounds, Owen Hopkins potted 10 points, and Tyson Walker scored eight points off the bench for West Albany (22-5).

The Kingsmen erased a 17-point deficit before prevailing in overtime in a hard-fought win over the Highlanders.
Tyler Adams and Lennon Greenleaf put up 15 points apiece, Jaiden Pickett scored 13 points, and Chase McDonald added 11 points to lead Putnam (22-4) to the come-from-behind victory.
India Mohiuddin had 14 points, and Joey Banry and Caiden Gould tossed in 12 points each for North Eugene (22-5). The Highlanders led 38-25 at the break but committed 16 costly turnovers in the loss.

Kallen Gutridge poured in a game-high 27 points on 10-of-13 shooting, and the Wildcats held off the pesky Panthers to earn a berth in the semifinals.
Emmitt Fee (eight rebounds) and Kyle Counts contributed 10 points apiece for Wilsonville (24-3), which held a 30-29 lead at halftime.
Wyatt Horner put up 19 points, and Jack Snyder added 14 points, eight rebounds and four steals to pace Redmond (18-9). The Panthers took the lead twice in the fourth quarter before stumbling down the stretch.
