Top stars, best performances in Pennsylvania high school basketball games played February 5-11

Shaye Bailey, Freedom girls basketball

Reached 1,000 career points in style, as she dropped a program-record 51 points in a win over Aliquippa on Monday night.

Shea Champine, Bishop Canevin boys basketball

In a 57-44 win over Eden Christian, he scored a game-high 35 points and then had a game-high 30 points in a win over Serra Catholic.

Vinnie Cugini, Aquinas Academy boys basketball

In a win over Hillel Academy, Cugini scored 36 points to bring his career total to 3,001 and making him just the fifth player in Pennsylvania boys basketball history to reach that milestone.

Jayden Davis, Chartiers Valley boys basketball

Despite losing 7to Mars, the sophomore hit seven 3-pointers and finished with 50 points to reach 1,000 for his career.

Alena Fusetti, Blackhawk girls basketball

Despite losing 40-36 to Cathedral Prep, she led all scorers with 24 points and knocked down five 3-pointers. 

Mairan Haggerty, Neshannock girls basketball

Scored 26 points and had 10 rebounds in a 48-44 win at Mohawk. She then had 23 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Aliquippa.

Jaydis Kennedy, Geibel boys basketball

In an 81-65 win over West Greene, he dropped 47 points.

Maddie Moore, Southmoreland girls basketball

Helped Southmoreland end a 19-game winning streak as she had 28 points and 12 rebounds in a 62-53 win over Ringgold.

Sarah Penrod, Franklin Regional girls basketball

On her senior night, she knocked down five 3-pointers and had a game-high 25 points in a win over Murrysville.

Joseph Roth, Ellwood City boys basketball

Finished with a game-high 35 points in a 57-51 win over Beaver Falls.

Landon Urcho, Bentworth boys basketball

Had a double-double with 33 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Beth-Center. He also had 25 points in a win over Mapletown.

Iyanna Wade, Clairton girls basketball

In a loss to Grensburg Central Catholic, Wade reached 1,000 career points with a 35-point performance. She reached the milestone in just 36 high school games.

Ava Walker, North Catholic girls basketball

In a 65-54 win over Oakland Catholic, she poured in a game-high 23 points.

Madison Zavasky, Pine-Richland girls basketball

Recorded a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds to help defeat Butler.

Tiffany Zelmore, Mt. Pleasant girls basketball

In a 55-41 win over Ligonier Valley, she scored a game-high 36 points.
