One of the top wide receivers in the state of California took a major step forward in his recruitment Tuesday.

Pittsburg High School four-star wide receiver Rashid Williams announced his top six of Arizona, California, Mississippi State, Oregon State, Stanford and Washington:

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound pass-catcher is rated the nation's No. 25 wide receiver and the No. 18 prospect in the state of California.

As a junior, Williams racked up 55 receptions 753 yards and 11 touchdowns, highlighting his big play abilities.

The dynamic Pittsburg athlete has already taken an official visit to Washington (May 13) and has upcoming trips planned to Oregon State (June 3) and California (June 23).

With early pledges locked in for Los Alamitos five-star wide receiver/cornerback Makai Lemon (USC) and Valley Christian four-star wide receiver Jurrion Dickey (Oregon), Williams is among the top uncommitted pass-catchers left in the state of California, along with Los Alamitos five-star wide receiver DeAndre Moore Jr. and Folsom four-star wide receiver Rico Flores

He will be a coveted playmaker until he makes his informally-set September decision date.
