Lakeridge High School (Oregon) class of 2024 wide receiver/tight end Joey Olsen has been billed as one of the top playmakers to come out of the state of Oregon in several years.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound pass-catcher has been considered a major prospect to watch since he became a first-team all-Three Rivers League selection as a freshman - a rarity for a conference that is dubbed "the SEC of Oregon."

But in the past few months, Olsen's recruitment has really taken off, as he's added offers from Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, Washington and Washington State.

On Friday, he picked up another major offer.

This one from the USC Trojans:

Olsen is rated the nation's No. 160 overall prospect and No. 8 tight end in the class of 2024, but college football programs view him as a versatile piece who can line up all over the field as a hybrid wide receiver/tight end weapon similar to the Miami Dolphins Mike Gesicki.

As a sophomore, he hauled in 29 receptions for 730 yards (25.5 yards per catch) and seven touchdowns.
