Prediction: Oregon Ducks set to get their quarterback

The Oregon Ducks are red-hot on the recruiting trail in the month of April, landing three commitments so far with a four on the way.

Dan Lanning's program started things off with a bang, adding Forney (Texas) four-star safety Aaron Flowers before securing commitments from West Salem (Oregon) three-star offensive tackle Trent Ferguson and Hazelwood Central (Missouri) four-star defensive lineman Tionne Gray, who flipped from Missouri. 

But Oregon isn't done yet.

On Thursday evening several coaches and recruits hinted at a possible fourth commitment.

Those posts came so far after the announcement of Gray, that it's possible a fourth April pledge has joined the fold.

Prediction: Luke Moga to Oregon Ducks

With 18 of the nation's top 21 quarterbacks off the board, things are really heating up at the position.

And Oregon is well-situated to address its need.

While the Ducks are a longshot to land Pinnacle (Arizona) five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola, who is slated to visit Eugene later this month, they have a much better chance at a pair of four-star prospects.

St. Frances Academy (Maryland) signal-caller Michael Van Buren, an ESPN five-star recruit and 247Sports three-star prospect, is visiting Oregon this weekend.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound passer is obviously considering the Ducks, but Maryland and Penn State, in particular, feel like the teams to beat.

With Raiola an unlikely target and Van Buren seemingly destined to stay close to home (see: Nittany Lions), Oregon has zeroed in on Sunnyslope (Arizona) four-star quarterback Luke Moga.

The rising 6-foot-2, 190-pound signal-caller has scheduled a commitment date for April 28 and is down to a final six of Arizona State, BYU, Miami, Michigan State, Oregon and TCU.

But the Ducks are clearly the favorites.

Could Moga have locked in his commitment silently on Friday night?

It's possible, or perhaps it was someone/something else. 

Either way, Oregon is hands-down the team to beat, and the recruiting industry agrees.

On3 gives Oregon a 95 percent chance to land him, while both of 247Sports' predictions have been logged in favor of Lanning's program. 

Moga appears destined to become a Duck.
