It's possible Central Catholic (Massachusetts) four-star quarterback Blake Hebert is the hottest commodity in the country at his position.

The nation's No. 6 quarterback in the class of 2025 entered the month of May with just one scholarship offer - Rutgers.

But since that time he has added 15 scholarships to his offer sheet, including Auburn, Clemson, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech.

In that time, the 6-foot-4, 213-pound signal-caller has also taken key unofficial visits to Clemson, Notre Dame and Penn State.

On Tuesday, Hebert decided he was ready to end the recruiting process, announcing a Friday commitment date:

So, who is the favorite?

While it would seem that the Tigers, Nittany Lions and Fighting Irish are all in the mix, Clemson has emerged as the heavy favorite.

Two of 247Sports' lead experts, Brian Dohn and Steve Wiltfong, have registered predictions in favor of Clemson, and Hebert reportedly loved his June 1 visit to the South Carolina-based school.

“I loved every bit of it,” he said. “It was great. Their future and their culture is very attractive!

Hebert would be quite a prize for the Tigers.

As a sophomore, he threw for 1,748 yards and 24 touchdowns, and projects as one of the nation's top signal-callers this fall.

Clemson does not yet have a quarterback pledge in either the 2024 or 2025 class, but it seems that could change by week's end.
