Central Florida softball players continue to put up impressive numbers as the 2024 season gets into full swing.

We looked at teams from multiple counties and nominated 26 athletes for the SBLive Central Florida Softball Player of the Week for March 4-9, 2024.

We ask you, the fan, to decide who should the top player selected. Voting will conclude on Sunday, March 17, at 11:59pm and will be announced in next week’s poll.

Editor’s note: Our corresponding poll is intended to be fun, and we do not set limits on how many times a fan can vote during the competition. The poll is specifically for fans to vote on the players that have been nominated and in no way discredits any other player that may not be mentioned in our poll.

Here are this week's nominees:

Olivia Boon, P/OF, University High (Orange City): Junior went 2-for-3 with a double, one run scored and three RBI to lift the Titans past Taylor (Pierson), 11-0.

Madison Velazquez, Utility, Horizon (Winter Garden): Senior went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI to lead the Hawks past The First Academy (Orlando), 10-0.

Avery Velazquez, P, Horizon (Winter Garden): Senior pitched a complete-game shutout, striking out 11 in seven innings, to guide the Hawks past The First Academy (Orlando), 10-0.

Alexandra Beldowicz, SS/P/3B, Hagerty (Oviedo): Talented junior went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI to lift the Huskies past Lake Brantley (Altamonte Springs), 5-4.

Liany Rosario, IF, Cornerstone Charter (Belle Isle): Star eighth-grader went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and one RBI to lead the Ducks past Astronaut (Titusville), 10-0.

Caroline Putt, Utility, Orangewood Christian School (Maitland): Went 3-for-3 with two doubles, home run, four runs scored and three RBI to lead the Rams past Legacy Charter (Ocoee), 18-1.

Naya Rosario, C/1B, Cornerstone Charter (Belle Isle): Senior went wild by going 5-for-5 with a double, two home runs, four runs scored and seven RBI to propel the Ducks past The Geneva School (Casselberry), 21-7.

Mercer Wilson, C, Trinity Prep (Winter Park): Sophomore went 2-for-3 with a double, run scored and two RBI to lead the Saints past Bishop Moore (Orlando), 10-1.

McKenna Hawley, P, Trinity Prep (Winter Park): Sensational sophomore pitched a complete game, striking out a whopping 16 batters, to pick up the win in a 10-1 victory against Bishop Moore (Orlando).

Chloe Stone, OF/C/3B, South Lake (Groveland): Fantastic freshman went 3-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and one RBI to lift the Eagles past Tavares 12-6.

Riley Winters, P, Foundation Academy (Winter Garden): Turned in a stellar performance by going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI and pitching a complete game, striking out five, to get the win in a 6-0 shutout of Lake Minneola.

Allie Hayden, 2B/SS/OF, Mount Dora Christian: Sophomore went 2-for-4 with one run scored and two RBI to lead the Bulldogs past The Master’s Academy (Oviedo), 11-1.

Tessa Guenette, 1B/P, Deltona: Junior went 2-for-2 with one run scored and two RBI to lift the Wolves past Lake Howell (Winter Park), 6-5, in a battle of Central Florida powers.

Payton Mathis, Utility, DeLand: Went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and four RBI to lead the Bulldogs past Taylor (Pierson), 10-3.

Neena Hernandez, Utility, Spruce Creek (Port Orange): Senior went 3-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI to guide the Hawks past Apopka, 7-0.

Julie Kelley, P, Spruce Creek (Port Orange): Kentucky commit threw a complete-game, no-hitter, striking out 10, in a 7-0 shutout of Apopka.

Olivia Bramer, P/OF, Leesburg: Star sophomore went 3-for-4 with a run scored and three RBI to propel the Yellow Jackets past Gateway (Kissimmee), 21-3.

Sarrah Trocki, P/OF, Ocoee: Senior went 3-for-3 with a double, triple, three runs scored and five RBI to lead the Knights past Liberty (Kissimmee), 19-0.

Addison Felblinger, P/OF, St. Cloud: Sophomore fanned 13 batters in a complete-game pitching win and had a single and one RBI to guide the Bulldogs past Osceola (Kissimmee), 2-1, in an Osceola County showdown.

Jensen Luke, Utility, Eustis: Went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI to lift the Panthers past Keystone Heights, 12-0.

Alexandra Rodriguez, Utility, Lake Nona (Orlando): Junior went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and one RBI to lead the Lions past Harmony, 3-2.

Heather Rue, P, Eau Gallie (Melbourne): Star senior threw a complete-game, two-hit shutout, striking out 14, to lead the Commodores past Bayside (Palm Bay), 7-0.

Jasmine Francik, P, Melbourne: Senior and FSU commit continued her dominance, striking out 12 in a complete-game two-hitter, to push the Bulldogs past West Nassau (Callahan), 2-1.

Bianca “B” Torres, OF/Slapper, Rockledge: Senior went 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI to lead the Raiders past Merritt Island, 16-0.

Natalee Smith, Utility, Vero Beach: Freshman went 2-for-3 with a double and one run scored to lead the Indians past Jensen Beach, 4-3.

Whitney Villars, 2B/CF/3B, Sebastian River: Junior went 3-for-3 with two runs scored to propel the Sharks past Melbourne Central Catholic, 7-5.
