For months, Roman Catholic (Pennsylvania) four-star wide receiver Tyseer Denmark was committed to the Oregon Ducks.

But in recent weeks, that commitment has felt shaky for a number of reasons.

Oregon continued to recruit the position despite having three receivers in the fold, implying something had to give.

At the same time, Denmark didn't shy away from the idea of taking other visits.

Recently, those puzzle pieces have come into place to form a clear picture.

Prediction: Tyseer Denmark to Penn State Nittany Lions

Denmark announced his decommitment from Oregon on Sunday, following a visit to Penn State, a program that was in his initial top three.

Immediately, the Nittany Lions became the overwhelming favorites to secure his pledge.

But would he fully re-open his recruitment and take more visits or shut things down quickly?

Tuesday provided an answer, as Denmark announced a commitment date for later this week before promptly deleting the tweet and moving it up - again - to Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET:

All signs point to Penn State, and this feels like an absolute lock based on recent events.

Penn State's 2024 recruiting class currently consists of 17 pledges and is rated No. 7 nationally.
