Williams Nwaneri, Missouri Tigers 5-star commit, attends Saturday's game

Lee's Summit North (Missouri) five-star defensive lineman Williams Nwaneri attended Missouri's game against Middle Tennessee

Lee's Summit North (Missouri) five-star defensive lineman Williams Nwaneri is arguably the most important football commitment in Missouri Tigers program history.

So for most Mizzou fans, it's worth keeping tabs on where he's at until he signs on the dotted line.

On Saturday, the nation's No. 3 overall prospect wasn't hard to find, tweeting out a photo of himself in attendance for Missouri's game against Middle Tennessee:

The 6-foot-6, 265-pound athlete committed to Missouri over Georgia, Oklahoma and others in mid-August.

"It was the hardest decision of my life, really," Nwaneri said.

In the end, however, proximity to home was a massive factor.

That made it easy for Nwaneri to be in attendance Saturday, and will make it easy for his family to attend his college home games in the coming years.

"It was very important," he said. "I want my parents to attend my games, my siblings to go to all my games."

As for the fit, Lee's Summit North coach Jamar Mozee believes his star made the right decision.

"I think it's a great place for him," he said. "As you can see he's a very quiet, humble type-of-guy. I think it's going to be a great place from the start. I think it's somewhere where he can have success early. I think that matters to him. So does being close to home. He has a really, really big family. So those things are important to him."

Saturday was evidence of that.

He is spending it with his future college family.
