Jason Brown visiting Washington; Nation's No. 1 uncommitted running back visiting for top-10 clash

O'Dea (Washington) star Jason Brown will be at Washington's game against Oregon

Amazingly, 40 of the nation's top 41 running backs in the class of 2024 have already announced their verbal commitments.

The one holdout is a big one - O'Dea (Washington) star Jason Brown, the nation's No. 6 running back and an All-American Bowl selection.

Down to a top three of Michigan State, Oregon and Washington, the 5-foot-10, 205-pound running back is growing close to a decision.

This weekend, Brown will stay close to home, visiting the Huskies for their match-up against Oregon.

For the past several weeks, Dan Lanning's program has emerged as the overwhelming favorite for the Washington product, but Kalen DeBoer's coaching staff isn't giving up.

A big win over the Ducks on the field could give them a fighting chance in the uphill recruiting battle.

Will the Huskies pull off the late surprise?

This weekend's late visit will set the stage for them to have a chance.

What will the winner of the "Jason Brown sweepstakes" be getting?

Here's what 247Sports had to say about him as a prospect:

"Brown has redefined his body for his senior year. He looks faster and more explosive while still flashing his usual vision and balance that allows him to churn out more yards after initial contact. He's also seen some time in the secondary, but make no mistake, he's a running back and he's down to just over 190 pounds, compared to his junior season in which he played over 200. His productivity is on pace to be his most productive season of his four years as a starting back."
