Aydin Breland previews commitment: 'I’m really excited to finally get to share my decision with the world'

Mater Dei (California) five-star defensive lineman Aydin Breland is set to announce his commitment Saturday

It's a huge week for Mater Dei (California) five-star defensive lineman Aydin Breland.

No. 1 Mater Dei faces No. 7 St. John Bosco in the biggest high school football game anywhere in the country.

On the recruiting front, Breland, the nation's No. 11 overall prospect and No. 4 defensive lineman, is set to announce his college decision Saturday.

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound defensive lineman is down to a final three of Georgia, Miami and Oregon and sat down with SBLive to discuss his upcoming decision and the huge matchup against St. John Bosco.

Breland said he wants to find a place that checks his boxes - "Great family feel, NFL development and a place I can call home."

“I’m really excited to finally get to share my decision with the world," he said.

For the past few weeks, Georgia has been the presumed favorite, but Oregon has made a serious push in the past few weeks and is now viewed as the favorite.

Still, I've been told that Breland's decision would be one of the most difficult to predict for months and that it could change at the last minute.

This one is going to come down to the wire.
