Jaime Ffrench visiting Florida State; 5-star Alabama commit checking out Seminoles

Mandarin (Florida) five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench is visiting Florida State this weekend

The Florida State Seminoles are hosting a jaw-dropping collection of talent this weekend.

But one of the headliners is unquestionably Mandarin (Florida) five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench, the nation's No. 11 overall prospect and No. 4 wide receiver in the class of 2025.

The dynamic 6-foot-1, 185-pound pass-catcher holds more than 30 scholarship offers, but is already committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Despite that pledge, Ffrench will be in Tallahassee this weekend to check out Florida State for its big game against the Miami Hurricanes.

So far, the in-state playmaker has been impressed by Florida State's offense this season, and the way the coaching staff develops its talent.

"(I like) the way they run their offense and how good they’re recruiting me," he said. "And I love the coaching there."

While Ffrench may prove difficult to pry away from Nick Saban and Co., there's not question Mike Norvell's program will get a chance to impress one of the top players in the state this weekend.

Overall, Florida State's 2024 recruiting class is ranked No. 4 nationally, while the early 2025 haul is listed at No. 21 - with two pledges.
