Jordan Seaton cuts list; Nation's No. 1 offensive tackle nearing decision

IMG Academy (Florida) five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton cut down his list Friday night

IMG Academy (Florida) five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton is the nation's No. 1 offensive tackle and the top uncommitted prospect in the country (No. 7 overall).

While the 6-foot-6, 290-pound lineman has visited many programs this fall, he has largely kept quiet about trimming down his list.

In fact, the last official update Seaton released was a top 14 in March.

That changed Friday, as the five-star recruit cut his list in half and is down to seven - Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee;

There are no major surprises on - or off - the list.

Seaton has been high on Alabama and Ohio State for some time, and has made the extra effort to visit Colorado, Florida, Oregon, and Tennessee this fall.

So, where is he headed?

That remains an unknown, but he's arguably America's most noteworthy uncommitted 2024 prospect.

According to On3, 28 of the nation's top 29 prospects are already off the board, and only two of the nation's top 55 recruits are undecided.

The lone five-star holdout? Seaton at No. 7.

In other words, when announcement time finally comes, all eyes will be on the elite offensive tackle.
