KJ Bolden hosts Auburn in-home visit; Could Tigers flip 5-star athlete from Florida State?

Buford (Georgia) five-star athlete K.J. Bolden is committed to Florida State, but Auburn seems to be gaining late momentum

The race for Buford (Georgia) five-star athlete/safety KJ Bolden seems to be heating up.

Just says after taking a late visit to Auburn, the nation's No. 1 safety hosted Auburn coach Hugh Freeze for an in-home visit.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound playmaker is rated the nation's No. 11 overall prospect and No. 1 safety in the class of 2024, but was also a dominant pass-catcher this fall:

Bolden has been committed to Florida State since early August, but the Tigers (and Georgia Bulldogs) have always been firmly in the mix.

Auburn hosted the Buford star just prior to his decision, and Bolden has since taken trips to check out the program this fall, most recently early this week.

While the five-star prospect has never wavered in his commitment to the Seminoles, there's a lot of smoke that Auburn is pushing for a potential flip.

Could Wednesday's in-home visit become the final piece in the effort to get Bolden to Auburn?

We'll have to wait and see, but there's plenty of smoke building.
