We have 10 athletes nominated this week for SBLive’s South Carolina High School Athlete of the Week from Feb. 11-17 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected.

Voting will conclude on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominees:

Christyonna Jackson, Dutch Fork, Girls Basketball

The 5-foot-10 senior forward reached the milestone of 500 career rebounds.

Preston White, Chapin, Boys Wrestling

White won the 113-pound 5-A Upper State championship, winning the title match 10-1.

Montero Royal, Goose Creek, Boys Wrestling

The freshman standout won the 5-A Lower State championship at 106 pounds. Royal took the title match by an 8-2 decision.

Hayden Schroeder, Gilbert, Boys Wrestling

Schroeder won the 132-pound 4-A Upper State championship. The senior star improved to 50-4 and the win was the 200th of his career.

Luis Noyola, North Central, Boys Wrestling

Noyola won the 113-pound 1-A/2-A Upper State championship in dominant fashion, taking the title match by pinning his opponent.

Gwendasia Page, Lake View, Girls Basketball

Page an amazing triple double as the Wild Gators overwhelmed Whale Branch 73-13 in the second round of the 1-A state playoffs. The 5-foot-8 senior forward had 18 points, 11 assists and a whopping 18 steals. She also had 8 rebounds and 3 blocked shots.

DaNariyah Williams, Military Magnet, Girls Basketball

The 5-foot-8 sophomore forward had 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 steals as the three-time defending state champions swamped Latta 60-18 in the second round of the 1-A state playoffs.

Braylhan Thomas, Gray Collegiate, Boys Basketball

Thomas posted 26 points in the War Eagles’ 79-43 rout of Abbeville in the second round of the 2-A state playoffs. The 6-foot-6 senior, who has committed to Georgia Southern, also had 14 points in Gray Collegiate’s 91-39 first-round win over Chesnee.

Ghaleb Wilson, Andrew Jackson, Boys Basketball

The 6-foot-2 senior guard was on fire with 37 points in the Volunteers’ 78-38 romp over Bishop England in the second round of the 2-A state playoffs. Wilson also had 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals, 4 blocks and 2 charges taken.

Jaleel McGee, Powdersville, Boys Basketball

McGee had 22 points, 4 assists and 4 steals as the Patriots beat Daniel 72-59 in the second round of the 3-A state playoffs. The junior guard also scored 11 points in Powdersville’s 73-40 win over Union County in the first round.
