We have 10 players nominated this week for SBLive’s South Carolina Girls Basketball Player of the Week from Feb. 12-17 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected.
Voting will conclude on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominees:
Leanissa Swinton, Wilson
Swinton scored 12 points and reached the 500-rebound milestone for her career as the Tigers held off James Island 43-41 in the second round of the 4-A state playoffs. The 5-foot-9 junior also had four steals.
Simone Johnson, Ridge View
Johnson scored 15 points to lead her team as Ridge View beat Hartsville 55-48 in the second round of the 4-A state playoffs.
Tacoya Heyward, Bluffton
The 5-foot-9 senior guard scored 25 points as the Bobcats downed North Myrtle Beach in the second round of the 4-A state playoffs.
Gwendasia Page, Lake View
Page an amazing triple double as the Wild Gators overwhelmed Whale Branch 73-13 in the second round of the 1-A state playoffs. The 5-foot-8 senior forward had 18 points, 11 assists and a whopping 18 steals. She also had 8 rebounds and 3 blocked shots.
DaNariyah Williams, Military Magnet
The 5-foot-8 sophomore forward had 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 steals as the three-time defending state champions swamped Latta 60-18 in the second round of the 1-A state playoffs.
Victoria Morris, South Pointe
Morris scored 22 points to go along with 14 rebounds and 4 steals in a 63-24 rout of Greenwood in the second round of the 4-A state playoffs.
Raina McGowens, Wren
McGowens, a UNC-Asheville commit, had 21 points, 6 assists and 5 steals as the Hurricanes blew past Chester 86-11 in the first round of the 3-A state playoffs.
Caroline Johnson, Christ Church
The junior guard scored 20 points in the Cavaliers’ 74-43 rout of McCormick in the first round of the 1-A state playoffs.
Amuria Wright, Denmark-Olar
Wright, a seventh grader, led the way with 17 points as the Vikings crushed C.A. Johnson 68-7 in the second round of the 1-A state playoffs.
Krystal Judy, Dorchester Academy
Judy produced a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Raiders dominated Thomas Heyward Academy 64-20 in the first round of the SCISA 1-A state playoffs.
