We have 10 players nominated this week for SBLive’s South Carolina High School Softball Player of the Week from March 3-9 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, March 16 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominations:

Jaidyn Devore, Barnwell

The junior pitcher fired a two-hitter with no earned runs and 16 strikeouts as the War Horses beat Williston-Elko 11-3 to open the 2024 season. Devore was also 2-for-4 with an RBI. The junior standout was also 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs in an 8-6 loss to Colleton County. In the circle, she allowed two earned runs and struck out 12.

Aubrey Holland, Greenwood

Holland delivered a two-run walkoff single, lifting the Eagles to a 4-3 win over Ninety Six.

Annie Ruth Eliason, West Florence

Eliason threw a five-inning one hitter with the maximum of 15 strikeouts as the Knights beat Myrtle Beach 5-0.

Grace Beacham, Hammond School

Beacham was 3-for-5 with a home run, double and 3 RBIs as the Skyhawks outlasted Irmo 11-10 in 9 innings. She also homered in a 12-5 win over Providence Athletic Club.

Savannah Owens, Hannah-Pamplico

Owens had two doubles and an RBI as the Raiders beat East Clarendon 3-1.

Autumn Fisher, Chapman

Fisher was 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs in the Panthers’ 4-3 victory over Boiling Springs.

Kaysen Warehime, Carolina Forest

The freshman right-hander threw a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts and also contributed to the offense with an RBI as the Panthers beat Waccamaw 7-0.

Jesse Cartrette, Loris

Cartrette, a freshman, threw a two-hitter with seven strikeouts as the undefeated Lions beat St. James 6-1. At the plate, she was 3-for-4 with a double and 3 RBIs.

Jaden Ekovich, White Knoll

Ekovich smashed a three-run homer in the Timberwolves’ 12-2 victory over Westwood. She was 1-for-3 with a double in an 8-6 loss to Westwood.

Olivia Lieb, Fountain Inn

Lieb was 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and 3 RBIs in the Fury’s 12-2 win over Wade Hampton. Then she went 4-for-5 with three doubles and 2 RBIs in a 16-14 loss to Laurens. Finally, she was 3-for-4 with a double and RBI as the Fury lost 8-7 to Wren in eight innings.
