Myles Davis chooses Texas A&M: Aggies beat out Longhorns for star safety

Judson standout is the No. 51 prospect in Texas

Judson High School (Texas) 2024 safety Myles Davis committed to Texas A&M, he announced on Wednesday.

The 6-1, 185-pound safety chose coach Jimbo Fischer and the Aggies over Texas. He's the No. 51 overall prospect in Texas and the nation's No. 28 safety, according to 247 Sports.

Davis logged 38 tackles, six pass breakups and four interceptions as a junior.

He's the second four-star Texas high school prospect to announce a verbal commitment Wednesday. Lindale offensive lineman Casey Poe committed to Alabama.
