Each week, SBLive takes a look at the top high school football performers across the Lone Star State. We gathered the best of the best, separated offense from defense, and now it’s your turn to cast your vote on a winner.

TEXAS DEFENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL NOMINEES
Jackson Duffey, sr., Smithson Valley
Duffey recorded a 35-yard interception return touchdown in a 31-24 victory over A&M Consolidated.
Gianni Evans-Williams, sr., Davenport
Evans-Williams forced a pair of fumbles that were recovered by Davenport teammates in a 55-20 win over Calhoun.
Trey Ferri, sr., Southlake Carroll
Ferri had two of Southlake Carroll’s four interceptions in a 56-7 rout of Byron Nelson.
Aaron Flowers, sr., Forney
Flowers, a four-star Oregon commit, returned an interception 35 yards to the end zone as Forney advanced to the state semifinals for the first time since 2002 with a 43-41 double-overtime win over Lancaster.
Abram Greer, sr., Anna
Greer had a momentum-swinging interception that set up a scoring run for Anna in a 41-21 victory over Stephenville. The senior finished with 13 total tackles.
Dylan Holt, sr., Ganado
Holt recorded 10 tackles and two fumble return touchdowns in a 41-12 win over Refugio. The senior also ran for 126 yards and a TD on offense.
Brady Janusek, jr., Liberty Christian
Janusek scored twice on offense and had a 50-yard interception return touchdown as Liberty Christian captured the TAPPS Division II state title with a 52-10 rout of Austin Regents.
Hunter Kunkel, sr., Bellville
Kunkel had a fourth-quarter interception and 83 all-purpose yards in a 31-7 win over Jasper.
Keltyn Raymond, jr., Glen Rose
Raymond tallied 11 tackles (two for loss) and a sack in a 45-13 victory over West Plains.
Elliott Schaper, jr., Westlake
Schaper had two sacks and an interception as Westlake downed rival Lake Travis, 21-14.
Colin Simmons, sr., Duncanville
Simmons, a five-star Texas commit, had four tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble that led to a defensive touchdown as Duncanville dominated Westfield, 70-28.
