YAKIMA - Everyone knows Ryan Orr has one of the best arms in the state. He is signed with Washington State University as a pitcher.
But it was the senior's fast wheels that got his Tumwater High School Thunderbirds a Class 2A baseball championship.
Orr's bases-loaded infield single scored Briar Finney with the game-winning run, and Tumwater edged Columbia River, 1-0, to win the state championship at County Stadium.
