Quincy Adams, Senior, Hamilton - Leading the Huskies in scoring on Wednesday in No. 9 Hamilton’s win over top-ranked Sunnyslope in the 6A quarterfinals, Adams posted 26 points while also snagging four rebounds in a 43-40 victory. He followed Friday in the 6A semifinal game against Boulder Creek with 23 points, seven rebounds and four assists to help Hamilton battle back from a 14-point deficit to pick up a 61-55 OT win over the Jags and send the Huskies to the 6A championship game. 

Nate Calmese, Senior, Mesquite - Hitting an insane buzzer-beater that made it as ESPN’s No. 1 on their Top 10 Highlights on Tuesday, Calmese helped the No. 4 Mesquite Wildcats stun the St. Mary’s Knights 74-73 in the boys 4A semifinals to send the Wildcats to the state championship game. He finished the night with 26 points, nine rebounds and six assists.  

Rowan McKenzie, Sophomore, Boulder Creek - Helping No. 12 Boulder Creek stun No. 4 Mountain Pointe 54-44 in the 6A quarterfinals on Wednesday, McKenzie led things in scoring with 18 points alongside three rebounds and two steals to help send the Jaguars to the 6A semifinals.

Koa Peat, Freshman, Perry - Coming up huge for the Pumas in the 49-47 triple-OT win over Brophy on Friday, Peat was able to keep the game tied and force the third overtime period off a blocked shot, where he then went on to score the game-winning basket to send the Pumas to the 6A state championship game. 

Canyon Torres, Junior, Salpointe Catholic - Shooting 78-percent from the field on Tuesday night, Torres was among the team’s three leaders in the 60-53 victory over Deer Valley. Torres finished the night with 15 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals to send the Lancers back to the 4A state championship game.
