Noah Gifft of Ironwood voted the WaFd Bank Arizona Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to Ironwood’s Noah Gifft for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Arizona Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 19-25. 

Gifft, a senior guard guard on the Ironwood team, tallied a game-high 27 points with three rebounds and two steals for the Eagles in a 74-45 home win over Cactus Shadows in a postseason contest. During the game, he set a Class 5A state record for 3-pointers in a season with 127.

Gifft received 87.5% of the vote, beating out Bryce Quinet, a junior on the Notre Dame Prep team, Elijah Summers-Livingston, a sophomore on the Basha team, and Keon Talgo, a senior on the Gilbert Christian team, who tied for second.
