2021 All-Mission League football team: Alemany running backs Floyd Chalk and Jaylen Thompson named co-MVP's
Alemany won the Mission League and advanced all the way to the Division 2 Southern Section championship game last fall.
Midway through last season, Alemany head coach Casey Clausen elected to switch from a pass first offense to a ground and pound approach with his two star tailbacks Floyd Chalk and Jaylen Thompson. The plan worked as Alemany won the Mission League and advanced all the way to the Division 2 Southern Section championship game. Chalk and Thompson combined for over 2,000 yards on the ground and the two were named co-MVP's of the Mission League. The remaining All-Mission League football selections are posted below.
