2022 Arcadia Invitational track meet live recap

INVITATIONAL FIELD EVENTS
- Murrieta Mesa's Cade Moran won the Men's discus at 198-4. Katelynn Gelston of Hanford Richland (Wash.) won the Women's at 156-0. Moran also won the shot put with a mark of 66-10.
- Great Oak's JC Stevenson won the Men's triple jump with a 48-3.75. Alyssa Hope of ML King won the Women's triple jump at 40-3.25. Stevenson also won the Men's long jump at 24-9.5.
- Elias Gerald of Westlake (Utah) won the Men's high jump at 6-9. JaiCieonna Gero-Holt of Emerald Ridge (Wash.) won the Women's at 6-0.
- Hunter O'Brien of Roosevelt won the Men's pole vault with a mark of 16-9. Amanda Moll of Capital (Wash.) won the Women's with a 14-4.
- Kylee Davis Golden Valley won the Women's long jump with a mark of 19-10.
- Kennedy Clarke of Cathedral Catholic won the Women's shot put with a mark of 44-6.5.
SATURDAY
9:33 p.m. - Central Fresno came in first place in the Men's 4x400 Meter Relay Invitational race with a time of 3:16:02. A Long Beach Wilson runner fell down during the final leg of the race and at the end of the relay runners from Wilson and Central Fresno got into a shoving match. Both teams were subsequently disqualified and Cathedral won with a 3:18:95.
9:27 p.m. - Long Beach Wilson won the Women's 4x400 Meter Relay Invitational race with a time of 3:48:34.
9:00 p.m. - Santiago won the Men's Distance Medley Relay Invitational race in 10:13:30.
8:50 p.m. - In the Men's Invitational 3,200 Meter Run, Newbury Park senior Colin Sahlman held off teammate Lex Young to win with a time of 8:34:99.
8:37 p.m. - Mira Costa's Dalia Frias ran a 9:55:50 in the Women's Invitational 3,200 Meter Run to set a new Arcadia Invitational record.
8:31 p.m. - Simeon Birnbaum of Rapid City (S.D.) won the Men's Invitational 1 Mile Run with a time of 4:07:88.
8:23 p.m. - Ventura freshman Sadie Engelhardt set an Arcadia Invitational record with a 4:35:16 time in the Women's Invitational 1 Mile Run.
7:40 p.m. - JSerra won the Women Distance Medley Invitational in 13:04:7.
7:37 p.m. - Servite's Max Thomas also swept in the 100 and 200. He won the Men 200 Meter Dash Invitational in 20.97.
7:33 p.m. - Autumn Wilson of St. Dominic (Texas) won the Women's 200 Meter Dash Invitational race in 23.68 seconds. Earlier on Saturday she won the 100 in 11.49 seconds.
7:22 p.m. - Yan Vazquez of Red Mountain won the Men's 300 Meter Hurdles Invitational race with in 36.40.
7:11 pm. - Joy Moorer of North Canyon High School (Ariz.) won the Women's 300 Meter Hurdles Invitational in 41.99 seconds.
7:01 - p.m. - McClintock's (Ariz.) Avaunt Ortiz won the Men's 400 Meter Dash Invitational race in 47.22 seconds.
6:57 - p.m. - Clovis North's Takiya Cenci won the Women's 400 Meter Dash Invitational race in 54.15 seconds.
6:45 p.m. - In the Mens' 800 Meter Invitational race, Carter Cutting of Corner Canyon (Utah) won by one hundredth of a second in 1:51.55.
6:38 p.m. - Allison Ince of Normal Community High School (Ill.) ran the fastest 800 meter time in the nation this season at 2:05.42.
6:29 p.m. - Servite senior Max Thomas won the Men's 100 Meter Dash Invitational race in 10.40 seconds.
6:25 p.m. - Autumn Wilson of St. Dominic (Texas) won the Women's 100 Meter Dash Invitational race in 11.49 seconds.
6:15 p.m. - Squalicum (Wash.) junior Andre Korbmacher held off Stockton St. Mary's Jadyn Marshall to win the Men's 110 Meter Hurdles Invitational with a 13.48.
6:05 p.m. - In the Women's 100 Meter Hurdles Invitational race, Westlake (Ga.) junior Jasmine Harmon ran a 13.78 to win.
5:26 p.m. - In the Men's 4x100 Meter Relay Invitational race, Central Fresno ran a 40.92 race to win, which equalled their state leading time that they had previously set at the West Coast Relays last week.
5:22 p.m. - In the Women's 4x100 Meter Relay Invitational race, Westlake (Ga.) ran the fastest time in the nation at 45.59 seconds to win.
1:02 p.m. - In the Men's 400 Meter Dash Open race, West Ranch senior Christopher Goode ran a California state leading time of 47.05 seconds.
FRIDAY
7:00 p.m. - Matthew Thomas of Blackfoot (Idaho) finished in 15th place overall in the Men's 3,200 Meter Rated races (three heats) with a time of 9:13.74. That's the new No. 1 time in Idaho high school track and field. Timpview's Isaac Hedengren (Utah) finished with the best time at 9:04.26.
5:43 p.m. - In the Men's 4x110 Meter Shuttle Hurdle Invitational race, Upland set a new California state record with a time of 57.10 seconds.
5:30 p.m. - In the Men's 4x200 Meter Relay Invitational race, St. John Bosco broke a 23 year California state record previously held by Long Beach Poly with a time of 1:24.15.
