PLAYER OF THE YEAR

TRENT PERRY, HARVARD-WESTLAKE, SR.

If you need Trent Perry to score, he can do it.

If you need Perry to set up his teammates, he can do that, too.

Rebound. Defend. Lead. Trent Perry can do it.

Throughout the 2023-24 season, he did it all.

The four-year Harvard-Westlake standout, now signed to USC as a McDonald's All-American, led the Wolverines to a CIF State Open Division championship for a second straight year, a feat accomplished after winning the program's first Open Division Southern Section title.

The 6-foot-4, point guard averaged 18.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game while shooting 55% from 2-point range, 47.2% from downtown and 86% from the free throw line.

Perry had a bevy of highlights, but among the top was his 42-point performance in Harvard-Westlake's CIF State playoff win over Carlsbad on March 2.

Harvard-Westlake is a combined 108-15 the last four seasons with Perry on the roster, including a 66-5 record the last two seasons.

Perry also finishes his high school career a two-time Mission League MVP.
