As part of our end-of-season all-state awards, SBLive will recognize the top players and coaches around the state in Florida high school basketball for their phenomenal performances during the 2021-22 season.

The following standout student-athletes have been named finalists for SBLive’s Florida High School Girls Basketball 3A Player of the Year, which honors the state’s most valuable player on the court in Class 3A.

Before we release our awards, we want your opinion. Who do you think should be the 3A Florida Girls Basketball Player of the Year?

SBLIVE’S FINALISTS FOR 3A GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Taylor Blackshear, Jr. (Benjamin)

Blackshear averaged 18.1 points and 10.2 rebounds per game this season for the Lady Buccaneers.

Maddy Boehm, Sr. (Saint Stephen’s Episcopal)

Boehm averaged 20.5 points per game this season, including 20+ point performances in eight games this season for the Falcons.

Olivia Davis, Jr. (Cardinal Mooney)

Davis averaged 16.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game this season, leading the Lady Cougars to the Class 3A Runner-up.

Lena Girardi, Fr. (Westminster Academy)

Girardi finished her freshman season averaging 20.2 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, leading the Lady Lions to their first state title in 31 years.

Kristina Godfrey, Jr. (Miami Country Day)

Godfrey averaged 14.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game this season for the Lady Spartans.

Rose Gravel, So. (Trinity Catholic)

Gravel was a double-double machine for the Lady Celtics, averaging 15.3 points and 14.3 rebounds per game this season.

Mira Hanna, Sr. (Berkeley Prep)

Hanna averaged 12.6 points, 9.3 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game this season for the Lady Buccaneers.

Jarcerriya Jenkins, Sr. (Evangelical Christian)

Jenkins averaged 14.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game this season for the Sentinels. Evangelical Christian finished the season with a 24-4 record.

Sofiah Miller, Fr. (Windermere Prep)

Miller averaged 11.9 points and 12.1 rebounds per game this season for the Lakers.

Tonie Morgan, Sr. (Florida State University High-Tallahassee)

Morgan averaged 20.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per game this season for the Seminoles, reaching the final four.

Arianna Mosley, Jr. (Tampa Prep)

Mosley led the state in scoring, averaging 30.2 points per game this season for the Lady Terrapins.

Kayla Nelms, So. (Miami Country Day)

Nelms averaged 17.4 points and 11.3 rebounds per game this season for the Lady Spartans, leading them to the regional semifinals.

Milahnie Perry, Sr. (Seffner Christian)

The Air Force signee finished the season averaging 15.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game this season for the Crusaders.

Abby Walsh, So. (Windermere Prep)

Walsh averaged 22.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists this season for the Lakers.

Zoe Wortinger, Jr. (Avon Park)

Wortinger averaged 15.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game this season for the Red Devils.
