The girls basketball season continues to ramp up in Southwest Florida.

Now is your chance to decided who had the best week. Check out the nominees for SBLive's Southwest Florida Girls Basketball Player of the Week, then vote in the poll below.

Voting will remain open until Sunday, December 24th and the winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Here are the nominees:

Kylie Anderson, Cypress Lake: Averaged 11 points and 2 steals a game last week as the Panthers improved to 7-1.

Kamie Ellis, Charlotte: Went for 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals as the Tarpons knocked off previously undefeated Evangelical Christian.

Shelia Forbes, Barron Collier: Scored 20 points then 17 points in consecutive games for the Cougars.

Sofia Kiritsa, Lely: Combined to score 46 points in three games for the Trojans last week. 

Alex McDonough, Gulf Coast: Put up 26 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals combined in two games last week.

Cameron O'Halloran, Bishop Verot: Scored 25 points, followed by a 18-point game to lead the Vikings in scoring last week.

Hailey Scheffler, St. John Neumann: Had 14 points, 9 rebounds and 7 steals as the Celtics beat CSN to move to 9-0.

Rianne Smith, Lehigh: Had games of 19 points and 17 points to lead the Lightning to two wins and a 7-1 record.

Zara Stewart, First Baptist: Totaled 32 points, 17 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals in two games last week.

Jadah Toombs, Evangelical Christian: Her 17 points led ECS past Aubrey Rogers as the Sentinels moved to 9-0.
