LAKELAND, FLORIDA – The high school basketball state semifinals and championships arrived to Polk County last week, with some great individual performances along the way.
SBLive Sports Florida was on hand at the RP Funding Center to checkout the state semifinals, championship games and we plucked out eight names that we felt stood out to us.
We ask you the fans to decide, who was the top girls performer at the FHSAA basketball state finals 7A-5A? Checkout our list of names and vote for who you think did the best. Voting ends on March 17th, 11:59 p.m.

Here are the nominations:
Trinity Turner, Dr. Phillips: The all-around combo guard helped lead the Panthers to another 7A state championship, scoring 16 points, five assists and three steals.
Leah Bullard, Dr. Phillips: Bullard, the daughter of WWE star Titus O’Neil, was nearly perfect in the Panthers’ win. She went 5-of-6 from the field with 15 points and six rebounds.
Jasmynne Gibson, Colonial: Gibson led the Grenadiers in scoring in their loss to Dr. Phillips in the 7A state championship game with 13 points and seven rebounds.
Kalia Harrington, St. Thomas Aquinas: Harrington was raining down 3-pointers in the Raiders’ state championship win over Bloomingdale. The guard scored 22 points and knocked five 3-pointers.
Kamryn Corporan, St. Thomas Aquinas: The guard kept getting steak after steal en route to some easy buckets, with Corporan scoring 20 points, eight steals and six assists.
Izellah Kendrick, Bloomingdale: The Bulls finished at 30-1 and Kendrick was a big reason why. In the 6A state final, Kendrick went 5-of-10 from the field for 14 points.
Jasleen Green, Plantation American Heritage: Green went off in the 5A state championship game, scoring a game-high 27 points, four rebounds and three assists.
Anovia Sheals, Mainland: A standout all season long for the Buccaneers was Sheals, who finished the year off strong. The forward scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
