Congratulations to Denmark baseball RHP/2B Dylan Trova for being voted SBLive’s Georgia High School Athlete of the Week for March 21-27!

The senior showed his ace status as he went a full seven innings with nine strikeouts while allowing only two hits and no runs.

Trenton Burnett, Loganville baseball

Burnett threw a perfect six innings versus Greenbrier. He didn’t give up a hit, run or walk and had 10 strikeouts.

Cam Cochran, Central-Carrollton soccer

Cochran set a school record with seven assists in a win over Bowdon. He's already broken the single-season assist record with 19.

Josh Dare, Creekside track and field

Dare crushed the field at the Fulton County Schools Championships with a discus throw of 165-8.

Jake Hembree, North Paulding baseball

Hembree was untouchable on the mound for North Paulding, recording a record-setting 17 strikeouts in a win over Harrison.

Parker Herndon, North Oconee baseball

In a doubleheader versus Flowery Branch, Herndon had two homers and six RBIs.

Baylor Hicks, South Forsyth baseball

Hicks gave up two hits in seven innings of shutout ball, racking up 10 strikeouts.

Garrett Lambert, Parkview baseball

Lambert was a jack of all trades in a win over Brookwood. He had a perfect game on the mound, going five innings with seven strikeouts and not giving up a hit or a walk. At the plate he went 2-for-3 with a home run.

Mina Muirhead, Mountain View lacrosse

Muirhead scored six goals to lead Mountain View to a thrilling 13-12 win over Parkview.

Andrews Opata, Parkview baseball

Parkview won a shootout with Hoover (Alabama), and Opata was a big reason for the win. He went 2-for-3 with a triple and a homer and drove in five runs.

Aiden Smith, Cherokee baseball

Smith came up big for the Warriors, going 2-for-3 with a three-run homer.

Ebby Somers, Lowndes golf

Somers made the all-tournament team and was low medalist with a 70 at the Lady Vikings Classic.

Mason Trucks, Pike County baseball

Trucks had a perfect performance, going five innings, throwing only 56 pitches and striking out 11.

Parker Walsh, Buford baseball

Walsh homered twice in Buford's 14-2 win over Dacula and went 6-for-7 in the three-game series.

Brooks Willis, Houston County baseball

Willis pitched seven no-hit innings with nine strikeouts.
