With sectionals only two weeks away, teams are vying for postseason leverage in addition to weekly bragging rights.

Here's a look at this week’s top five games:

No. 7 Fishers (5-2) vs. No. 9 Westfield (4-3)

In this week’s only matchup of Top 10 teams, the Tigers and Shamrocks hope to stay in contention with front-running Brownsburg and HSE in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference. Westfield has allowed at least three touchdowns in four straight weeks, and Fishers has never scored fewer than three TDs. It could be a high-scoring affair.

No. 12 Ben Davis (4-3) vs. No. 25 Lawrence Central (4-3)

The Giants simply ran out of time in a Top 10 grudge match last week at Carmel. Against the Bears this week, Ben Davis faces a Lawrence Central team making its own claim for a spot in the rankings. Junior quarterbacks Thomas Gotkowski (BD) and Bryson Luter (LC) lead their teams to scoring averages of 37 and 27 points per game. Surely a win by the Bears will validate their emergence in the Power 25.

No. 20 Fort Wayne Snider (6-1) at Fort Wayne Dwenger (5-2)

Snider has won five straight since their lone defeat against No. 8 Carroll. Similarly, the Saints have won four of five, with their only loss in that stretch also to the unbeaten Chargers. Carroll remains the team to beat in the Duneland Conference, but Snider and Dwenger collide as top contenders with two weeks left in the regular season.

No. 3 Cathedral (Indianapolis) (5-1) vs. Brebeuf Jesuit (4-2)

It’s the 6A Christian Brothers vs. the 4A Jesuits and it’s always a rivalry! Both teams have sights set on state playoffs schedules in weeks ahead. No. 3 Cathedral is a power in any division and the Braves remain among the state’s top 4A clubs, even outside the SBLive Power 25.

Indianapolis Lutheran (7-0) at Speedway (5-2)

The Sparkplugs have won four straight and boast a pair of shutouts this season. Lutheran, meanwhile, is dominant and unbeaten in the 1A classification. The Saints beat 3A Monrovia 52-6 last week. By comparison, Speedway dispatched conference rival Monrovia 41-16 earlier in the season. A win in this 1A vs. 3A matchup could move either club a step closer to the Power 25.
