Lewis Central girls wrestler Avaeh Smith voted SBLive’s Iowa high school athlete of the week
Smith totaled more than 8,000 votes
Lewis Central girls wrestler Avaeh Smith was voted SBLive’s Iowa High School Athlete of the week for Dec. 4-10.
Smith racked up 8,175 votes (42.45%). Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln junior boys basketball player Creighton Bracker was second with 4,659 votes (24.19%).
Smith, a 120-pounder, stretched her record to 20-0 with a 51-second fall in the final of the Council Bluffs Classic.
