Congratulations to Madison Central ATH Deandre Pullen for being voted SBLive’s Mississippi High School Athlete of the Week for Nov. 22-28!

The junior rushed for 187 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries in a 34-13 win over Starkville.

Pullen received 46% of the vote, beating out Brandon's Jarvis Durr who finished second with 42.28%. Harrison Central's Sam Murray II finished third with4.86% and Greenville's Tialone Banks finished fourth with 3.89%. There were over 219,000 votes tallied this week!

Rushed for 292 yards and three touchdowns on 40 carries in a 32-28 win over Laurel.

Jarvis Durr, Brandon
Rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries in a 21-20 win over Oak Grove.

Tyrick Jones, Bay Springs
Rushed for 192 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries in a 44-6 win over West Lowndes.

Jordan Osborn, Senatobia
Rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries in a 34-27 win over Caledonia.

Vontrez Rush, Simmons
Rushed for 230 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries in a 48-0 win over Tupelo Christian.

Cedquavious Hunter, North Panola Boys Basketball

Hunter had 34 points in a 59-29 win against Bayou Academy.

Carson Rowland, Pine Grove Boys Basketball

Rowland had 15 points, 5 assists, and 6 rebounds in a 75-47 win over Nettleton.

Sam Murray II, Harrison Central Boys Basketball

Had 23 points, 8 rebounds, 6 blocks, 3 assists, and 2 steals in a 73-46 win over Pass Christian.

Tialone Banks, Greenville Girls Basketball

Banks had 31 points, 7 assists, and 8 steals in the Hornets’ 61-39 win over Mitchell.

Lily Whitley, New Site Girls Basketball

Whitley had 30 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 steals in Royals’ 66-20 win over Red Bay. 

Caleb Kent, Madison Central Boys Basketball

Kent had 22 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists in a 71-53 loss to Lanier. 

Carter Mullins Florence Boys Basketball

Mullins had 28 points in Florence’s 58-53 win over Wingfield.
