Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Missouri high school athlete of the week for April 11-17. Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Voting will conclude Sunday at 11:59 p.m. If you would like to make a nomination in a future week, email nate@scorebooklive.com.

Grace Eimer, Northwest Cedar Hill girls soccer

Eimer, a senior, stood in the net and tallied nine saves to help the Lions capture a 2-0 win over St. Charles last Saturday.

Shaun Wolfe, Fulton boys track and field

Wolf, a senior, stole the show at the Jack McCush Invitational, finishing the 3,200-meter run with a first-place time of 10 minutes and 42.25 seconds.

Emma Gianino, Nerinx Hall girls soccer

Nerinx Hall nabbed a 4-2 win over Aurora Metea Valley last Saturday, and Gianino was a large part of that with an assist to go along with a goal of her own.

Caroline Knolhoff, Parkway South girls soccer

Knolhoff, a junior defender, netted the first goal of her high school career during the Patriots’ 2-0 win over Fort Zumwalt North in the Parkway College Showcase.

Mason Meinershagen, Oakville girls track and field

Meinershagen, a junior, outlasted the competition to take first place in the pole vault at the Simpson Relays, using a 13-foot jump to seal the deal.

Lukas McGill, Fort Zumwalt East baseball

McGill, a left-handed pitcher, dealt the second complete game of his career during a 12-0 win over St. Charles West. The dominant outing served as his first no-hitter, striking out seven and walking three during five innings of action.

Jordan Orr, Eureka boys volleyball

Orr, a senior, served three aces and piled up 47 assists during the Wildcats’ five-set win over Lafayette last Thursday.

Jayleign Flood, Clever girls track and field

Flood, a sophomore, completely dominated the Bolivar Relays, taking first in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes last Thursday.

Kolten Payne, Oran baseball

Payne, a junior, struck out a whopping 17 batters and only allowed one hit during six innings of work in Oran’s 2-0 win over Advance last Thursday.

Daniel Mamrenko, Pattonville boys water polo

Pattonville flipped the script on its early-season struggles with a 13-5 win over Mehlville, and the senior played a key part in that with a game-high six goals.

Hakin Liddell, Central (Park Hills) boys track and field

The junior took home first in triple jump at the Simpson Relays last Thursday with a winning leap of 43 feet, 2 inches.

Noah Leingang, Westminster baseball

Leingang, a senior, dealt 5 ⅓ innings while striking out 10 and allowed an unearned run during Westminster’s 4-3 win over John Burroughs last Tuesday.

Ryan Walsh, Chaminade boys golf

Walsh finished 7-under-par 65 to take first place at the Bulldog Battle Golf Tournament. The senior ended up six strokes ahead of second place.

Justin Jan, MICDS boys tennis

Jan, who finished third in Class 3 last spring, defeated Priory’s Preston Achter to win the Metro League Tournament last Tuesday in Town and Country, Missouri.

Kendall Curry, MICDS girls lacrosse

Curry, a junior, nailed all five of her free position shots and had 13 saves during the Rams’ 9-6 win over John Burroughs last Tuesday.

Carter Cossou, Chaffee baseball

Chaffee picked up a pair of wins over Dexter and Bell City, and Cossou, just a sophomore, went 4-for-7 in those to drive in six runs.

Kynlee McCulloch, Lamar archery

McColloch went to the 2022 Missouri National Archery State Tournament and showed out, tallying 585 points during the Bullseye Tournament and the 3D Tournament to earn High Point Female.

Tae’Sean McShane, Central (Springfield) boys track and field

The junior, quite literally, ran away with first place in the 100-meter dash at the Bolivar Relays, finishing the race in 11.67 seconds.

Gavin Stowell, Webb City baseball 

The senior, who’s committed to Highland (Kan.) Community College, used 80 pitches in six innings of action to not allow a single hit while striking out 10 batters and walking three during the Cardinals’ 10-0 win over Hillcrest.

Kayanna Cranmer, Chillicothe girls track and field

Cranmer, just a sophomore, nabbed first place in the 400-meter dash at the Jack McCush Invitational with a first-place time of 1 minutes, 2.80 seconds.
