Liberty North's Alex Couch voted SBLive’s Missouri High School Athlete of the Week (3/11/2024)
Congratulations to Liberty North girls basketball player Alex Couch, who was voted the SBLive Missouri High School Athlete of the Week for February 26-March 3.
She received more than 46 percent of the total votes for the week.
Couch, a sophomore, scored a school-record 39 points in a 74-72 loss against Park Hill South in a district showdown. The previous record of 31 was set in 2011.
Carthage girls basketball player Lauren Choate finished second in the voting after receiving more than 29 percent of the votes.
