Jamil Miller hit a half court shot as time expired and Gonzaga Prep beat Kamiakin 57-54 to win the 4A District 8 title at the Spokane Arena.

Miller, a junior, caught a baseline inbound from Jayden Stevens, took one dribble and rose uncontested right behind the half court line.

Stevens had 19 points and Henry Sandberg added 12 for the Bullpups (14-7). Mid-Columbia Conference champion Kamiakin (18-2), No. 3 in SBLive's most recent 4A power rankings, was paced by Oregon State commit Tyler Bilodeau's 19.

Both teams are through to regionals, which will be seeded by a state committee and announced Sunday.
