Every week, SBLive gathers the top high school sports performances across the country spanning all states and schools both big and small. 

Now, it's your turn to pick the best of the best. 

Here are the nominees for SBLive's National Athlete of the Week for Oct. 17-23. Voting concludes on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) and the winner is announced every Monday.

SBLive National High School Athlete of the Week candidates

Gatlin Bair, Burley (Idaho) football

Bair was the catalyst behind a win that clinched Burley its first state appearance in 13 years. He turned nine passes into 244 yards and four touchdowns in an 84-46 win over Canyon Ridge.

Skyler Cassel, West Valley of Yakima (Washington) football

The state of Washington's leading passer went bonkers — 446 yards and five touchdowns — to lead the Rams to a victory over reigning 4A Columbia Basin Big Nine champion Moses Lake.

Johnnie Evans, Oak Grove (Mississippi) football

The linebacker was credited with 10 total tackles, one interception and recovered a fumble in a 25-20 upset over top-ranked Brandon.

Grant Glausser, Western Dubuque (Iowa) football

Glausser rushed for a school-record 339 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries to lead Western Dubuque to a 36-26 win over Mason City in a regular season finale. It's his fourth time this season with 200-or-more yards in a game and his team's first playoff appearance since its 2019 state championship season.

Jarvis Green, Dutch Fork (South Carolina) football

The James Madison recruit had yet another big week, accounting for 297 yards and a school record-tying seven touchdowns in the first half. Green had 191 yards rushing and five touchdowns while catching four passes for 106 yards and two receiving touchdowns as the Silver Foxes routed River Bluff 56-7.

McCrae Hagerty, Waverly-Shell Rock (Iowa) football

The Go-Hawks completed their first unbeaten regular season since 1990 and Hagerty was a big reason why. He had 227 rushing yards on 27 carries, scoring on runs of 71, 19 and 11 yards in a 32-13 win over Decorah.

Kaden Irving, Gautier (Mississippi) football

The quarterback completed 21 of his 31 passes for 395 yards and six touchdowns and added 83 yards on the ground with two more rushing scores in a 56-35 win over East Central.

Greg Manning, Benton (Louisiana) football

In an incredible, high-scoring game, Manning shined. He rushed for 274 yards on 29 carries with seven touchdowns, and also caught five passes for 61 yards and another touchdown as the Tigers outlasted Haughton, 78-71.

Quan Moss, Elbert County (Georgia) football

Turned 34 carries into 206 rushing yards and five touchdowns in a 41-21 win over Commerce. 

Cadin Olsen, Armstrong (Pennsylvania) football 

Senior quarterback went 17-for-21 passing for 431 yards and five touchdowns through the air. He also added a touchdown on the ground in a 56-35 win over Highlands.

Cooper Perry, Notre Dame Prep (Arizona) football

The sophomore finished the night with 10 receptions for a new career high of 229 yards and four touchdowns in a 44-23 victory over Sunnyslope on Friday, his fourth game of the season with four touchdowns.

Quin Renfro, Joplin (Missouri) football

Junior scored a school-record eight touchdowns while running for 298 yards in a 68-43 win over Neosho in Central Ozark Conference action. Renfro scored four touchdowns in each half and broke a record held by current South Dakota State running back Isaiah Davis.

Jordan Summers, Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Minnesota) football

The senior running back ran 42 times for 320 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-21 win over Detroit Lakes on Oct. 18.

Aric Thomas, Omaha South (Nebraska) football

The most productive receiver in Nebraska this season (1,233 yards, 16 touchdowns) helped lead 35-28 win over Bellevue East with 193 yards and two touchdowns. 

NaQuante Thompson, Clintondale (Michigan) football

Thompson finished the game with 28 total tackles, which tied Clintondale’s record books for most tackles in a game.

Jordan Triplett, Frederica Academy (Georgia) football

Rushed 31 times for 343 yards and four touchdowns — both season-highs for Triplett — in a 42-20 win over Bulloch Academy.

Eugene Wilson III, Gaither (Florida) football

In a 41-35 win over Durant, Wilson III carried the load on offense. He caught nine passes for 243 yards and three receiving touchdowns. 

Eli Wisdom, Shiloh Christian (Arkansas) football

Senior put up 230 passing yards on 18-for-31 passing with three touchdowns through the air and rushed for 230 yards and four touchdowns on the ground to fuel a 51-30 win over Farmington.
