Catlin Gabel boys soccer: After edging rival Oregon Episcopal 3-2 in the semifinal, the Eagles made easy work of Dayton in the championship match, rolling to an 8-1 victory to clinch their third consecutive 3A/2A/1A title. It’s their 14th state championship, drawing the program within one of Jesuit for most in state history.

Catlin Gabel girls soccer: A late goal gave the Eagles a 3A/2A/1A title-clinching 1-0 victory over top rival and top-seeded Oregon Episcopal. The Eagles broke a tie with Jesuit for most championships, winning the program’s 15th state title.

Grant girls soccer: Two one-goal victories gave the Generals their first state championship — 1-0 over Sunset in the semifinal and 4-3 over Beaverton in the 6A final. (STORY, PHOTOS)

Lakeridge football: The 10th-seeded Pacers traveled to Eugene for a second-round date with No. 7 Sheldon, fell behind 7-0 … and then rolled off 40 unanswered points for a 40-7 victory, clinching a quarterfinal rematch with Three Rivers League rival West Linn.

La Salle Prep boys soccer: The Falcons earned their second consecutive 5A title with a 5-0 win over Corvallis in the championship match. The five-goal margin is the largest in a 5A final. (STORY, PHOTOS)

Marist Catholic football: The Spartans avenged a 38-33 regular-season loss to Cascade with a 62-35 victory when it mattered most — in the quarterfinals of the 4A playoffs.

Mazama football: The Vikings went on the road and knocked out Banks with a 21-14 victory. Mazama rushed for 330 yards and held Banks to 26 yards rushing.

Philomath boys soccer: In a dramatic state final, Philomath earned the 4A crown by outlasting Hidden Valley in a penalty-kick shootout. Philomath reached the title game by slipping past North Marion 2-1 in overtime. Philomath scored goals in the 70th minute or later in its final three playoff games to either tie or win games.

Sherwood football: The 21st-seeded Bowmen earned their second consecutive road win in the playoffs, this one a 35-27 victory over No. 5 West Salem. (STORY, PHOTOS)

Summit boys soccer: The Storm cruised to the 6A championship, outscoring their five opponents 21-0 in the playoffs, including a 6-0 rout of West Linn in the final. They equaled big-school records for goals in a championship game and largest margin of victory, matching Lakeridge (6-0 in 1982 over South Eugene) and Jesuit (back-to-back 6-0 wins over Lakeridge in 1986 and Woodburn in 1987). Summit football: After not receiving a vote in any of the SBLive weekly media top-10 polls, the Storm are among the eight teams still alive in the 6A playoffs after they avenged a Week 1 loss to Roseburg with a 37-19 second-round win.

Wilsonville girls soccer: The Wildcats topped Northwest Oregon Conference rival La Salle Prep 4-2 in the 5A final to win their first state title. (STORY, PHOTOS)

Woodburn girls soccer: The fourth-seeded Bulldogs earned the 4A crown by knocking off the top two seeds in the bracket — 1-0 over No. 1 Gladstone in the semifinal and 1-0 (thanks to a 7-6 shootout win) over No. 2 Hidden Valley in the final. It’s their second consecutive OSAA state title.

Vale football: The seventh-seeded Vikings knocked out No. 2 Rainier with a 14-6 victory in Kelso. Vale allowed just 129 yards of total offense and made a goal-line stand after the Columbians put together their best drive of the game to start the second half.
