Congratulations toBurley girls basketballpoint guard Amari Whiting for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Athlete of the Week for Nov. 22-28!
The junior Oregon commit led all scorers with 26 points in Lady Bobcats’ 49-18 win over Canyon Ridge.
Whiting ran away with this week’s honor, receiving 92.5% of the total vote.

Blake Hansen, North Star Boys Basketball: Hansen had 14 points and 4 rebounds in 101- 42 loss against The Ambrose School.
Brecker Knapp, Preston Boys Basketball: Preston netted 15 points in the Indians’ 49-44 win over Burley.
Tyler Medaris, Middleton Boys Basketball: Medaris put up 5 points and 12 rebounds in Middleton’s victory over Borah.
Berenice Vargas, Carey Girls Basketball: Vargas had a game-high 20 points in Carey’s 44-36 OT win over Shoshone.
