Over the past month, we've been taking a position-by-position look at some of the top players in Georgia high school boys basketball.

Our first list focused on the point guards, next were the shooting guards and then the small forwards and power forwards. We wrap it up with the centers.

There are hundreds of standout boys basketball players in Georgia, and these lists are not intended to be comprehensive! Use the comments section to discuss the other centers worthy of fans’ attention in 2021-22.

Delva Chedlet, Cumberland Christian

A monster inside with a long wingspan, Chedlet cleans up on the glass. The 6-foot-10 senior was voted SBLive’s Georgia high school athlete of the week last month after finishing with 23 points and 22 rebounds in the Lemon Street Classic.

Gai Chol, Greenforest

Chol has length on top of length, and he knows how to use it to his advantage. The 7-foot junior has received offers from Cincinnati, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, Auburn and more.

Malique Ewin, Berkmar

A strong presence inside on both ends of the court, Ewin can extend his range and score in a myriad of ways. The 6-foot-10 Ole Miss signee scored his 1,000th career point in the Patriots’ win over Duluth on Feb. 4.

Emeka Iloh, McIntosh

Athletic and strong inside, Iloh commands the pain with his physicality. The 6-foot-8 senior tallied 15 points and 11 rebounds in the Chiefs’ win over Griffin on Jan. 28.

Aaron Jones, Veterans

Jones is a defensive-minded center with a knack for blocking shots. The 6-foot-10 junior is closing in on 100 career blocks in less than two seasons at the varsity level for the Warhawks.

Domas Kauzonas, Rabun Gap

Kauzonas is active on both ends of the court, and he has great vision and touch passing the ball. The 6-foot-11 junior went for 12 points, eight rebounds and four assists in a win over Buford on Jan. 12.

Izaiyah Nelson, Marietta

Nelson is a rebounding, shot-blocking machine who can move like a guard. The 6-foot-8 Arkansas State signee averages 14.8 points and 12.1 rebounds per game.

LT Overton, Milton

A rare blend of strength and agility, Overton is an intimidating presence in the paint. The 6-foot-5 big man, who is one of the top football recruits in the country, recently announced his decision to graduate early and reclassify from 2023 to 2022. One of the schools in his top five, Ohio State, offered Overton spots on the basketball and football teams.

Arrinten Page, Wheeler

A rim protector who runs the floor and has great hands, Page is a weapon when he’s on the floor for the No. 2 team in the state. The 6-foot-8 junior posted 10 points, seven rebounds and two assists in the Wildcats’ recent win over No. 4 Newton.

Eddie Page, Greater Atlanta Christian

Attacking the rim on one end of the court and protecting it on the other, Page plays with high energy. The 6-foot-9 senior posted 11 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Cumberland Christian on Jan. 29.

Braden Pierce, River Ridge

An efficient scorer near the basket with the ability to pop out for threes, Pierce is a mix between old school and new school at center. The 7-foot senior holds offers from South Florida, Georgia State and more.

JC Riley, Lowndes

The 6-foot-9 senior is a monster on the glass and an opportunistic scorer. He had 19 rebounds in a win last month over Tift County, with nine of them on the offensive glass and contributing to his 13 points.

Lathan Sommerville, TSF Prep

From getting physical in the paint to facing up against defenders at the top of the key, Sommerville’s size and skill set allows him to play anywhere from center to small forward. Rutgers, Wake Forest and Bradley have offered the 6-foot-9 sophomore, who scored 31 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a win over Western Reserve Academy on Jan. 25.

Keith Williams, Mount Vernon

Smooth but gritty, Williams plays big inside on both ends of the court and can hit the open jumper. The 6-foot-8 junior scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a win over Wesleyan on Jan. 28.
